PantherWeb (the Panther Web Development Group) is Georgia State's student-led web development club. Students of every major and experience level team up on real projects, from quick experiments to full websites and mobile apps, learning both the code and the design behind them. Every project is something members can add to their portfolio, and every semester we're growing a stronger web development community at GSU.
PantherWeb, the Panther Web Development Group, brings together Georgia State students of all majors and backgrounds who want to create on the web. We learn by building: members collaborate on student-led projects of every size, from websites to mobile applications, and get hands-on with both development and UI/UX design along the way. The result is real, portfolio-ready work and a supportive community for anyone at GSU interested in web development.

What being a member actually looks like.
Learning at PantherWeb happens through projects. Members join student-led teams and work on something real, whether that's a small experiment or a full website or mobile app, picking up new tools as the project calls for them.
Good products need both. Members get hands-on with development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks) and with UI/UX design (layout, interaction, and user experience), so developers and designers learn from each other.
You don't need to be a computer science major or have written code before. PantherWeb welcomes Georgia State students of every major and background, and beginners build right alongside experienced members.
Because projects are real and student-led, what you build becomes portfolio material you can point to when applying for internships and jobs.
